Frayre Facts Pt. 2

1) I hate ordering pizzas.  HATE.  If I'm asked a question that I can't come up with an answer within half a second to a full second, I'll hang up.

2) I love sending cards to people.  Give me your address and I'll mail you a card. But you have to promise to write back because I love receiving mail as well.

3) If Lanny and I decided to take on planing this wedding alone, we would never, ever get married.

4) My new favorite cupcake: Banana with chocolate icing.

5) By September, I will have seen Ben Folds 6 times.

6) I've been told a lot of good news in my life... but finding out I'm going to be an aunt definitely tops them all. I have so much love for her already and we haven't even met yet.

7) My ring size is 7 3/4.  Oy vey.

8) I like sushi now.  My favorite is the Philadelphia roll.

9) I got a new library card this summer.

10) I am not good at "Paramore - Misery Business" on Guitar Hero: World Tour.  That's okay... their music sucks, anyway.

Frayre Facts Pt. 1

I realized the whole "Frayre Facts" came from when I was making my YouTube profile.  I came up with 10 random facts about me that not many people know.  I haven't updated my "Frayre Facts" since... well... I couldn't even tell you.  Here are the original "Frayre Facts:"

1) I love pizza lunchables but I hate preparing them.
2) I've hugged and taken a picture with Wentworth Miller and it made me weak in the knees
3) One time on campus I saw a bird walking around with a waffle fry and, no joke, it was the highlight of my week.
4) My favorite ice cream flavor is Java Chocolate Chunk. Unfortunately I can only buy it at H.E.B.
5) I had a pet hamster for a week and I found her dead on Valentine's Day when I was in 3rd grade. Awful.
6) I'm convinced I have seen Empire Records at least 200 times. I wish I were joking...
7) One time in kindergarten,I smashed a kids peanut butter & jelly sandwich and got my green, yellow AND red card pulled.
8) In first grade, I was taking a spelling test and the word was "shirt" but I left out the "r" on accident. Needless to say I didn't get that one right.
9) A few years ago we had an electrical fire at my house, and out of all the places I could have been when the fire department was on their way, I was taking a shower.
10) The highest I've ever bowled is 199.

P.S.  Thompson-Frayre dinner was a success.  Not that I didn't think it would be.  It's going to be a fun year, I can already tell.

Typo

Sometimes when I'm typing "The Fray" I end up typing out "The Frayre." And then I giggle.

Of course talking about The Fray doesn't happen often. So I embrace the moment when it does.

So eventually, Lanny and I are going to start hiking/camping.  I mean... really roughing it.  Big, nifty backpacks, tents, lots of bug spray, etc...  Tonight we tested out some sleeping bags.  See:

I tried on fishing hats, sat in a tent, and even looked at some hiking shoes.  Nature is fun!

I meet with my wedding coordinator for the first time Thursday morning. I'm really excited, scared and nervous.

I'm watching P.O.V. on KERA right now.  This documentary is amazing. It's about a guitarist that overcomes a serious brain injury.  Or something like that?  Anyway, I dig it.

I miss Lindsay Hopper.

So many birthdays are coming up!  Excitement.

I probably should have waited to update this when I had something interesting to talk about...

Sushi and gelato with the Thompson men is always a nice way to spend a Sunday evening.

So far, so good.  Well, minus that one run-in... First and last time, I swear.

I'm awake

I fell asleep wearing my contacts... again. Which is why I can barely see the screen. I would like to apologize for any typos in advance.

It's way too early (well... early for me) and I went to sleep way too late.

"Whale Wars" is kind of addicting.

3rd of July was a success. 4th will be even better.

It felt good to hear your voice.

If I end up keeping my name and just putting a hyphen in between mine and my soon-to-be new last name, my new initials will be AMFT... and when I say that out loud, it reminds me of "OMFG" and that makes me giggle. Does anyone else see that? No? No... okay. "I'm passing out..."

Things to look forward to:
1) Two friends will be home in less than a month.
2) We move in to our apt. in a little over a month.
3) Baby will be here soon!
4) Ben Folds with DSO.

I like lemon blueberry muffins, too.

Pancakes with the future in-laws... weird!
